Putting this story out here itself was not that fabulous, it took tons of hard work and resilience due to an unforeseeable problem. We shot it a while back but couldn’t get it out, I almost gave up but decided to hang on to it because I really believe in the message in Zang’s story and not to say his AMAZING design!! I am very proud of myself and Zang for this-He is such a fun and humbling person. I love Zang’s msgs with smiley faces. Jackie Baylon, the lovely intern and friend did a good job shooting part of the video, just one day after I taught her how to pan/zoom.
What you see is glamorous, but it is not so glamorous behind the scene, you didn’t see me going to his studio for research during pouring rain on my off time, me hauling a camera and a tripod, and doing hours of editing/writing, picking 2 seconds of shot out of 2 hour tape, and yes, Zang himself fitted me and picked the dresses, we communicated about the story in middle of the night. What you see was 3 minutes behind hours of hard work.
My life is not as glamorous as you see here on the photos, waking up to work at 1 am every morning is not easy. But this is the business I love and I know I have the talent and a mission to tell these stories. Life is full of changes and challenges, I am facing them everyday. There will be some big changes in my life and I am excited to embrace them. I will keep you updated. Extraordinary results require extraordinary effort!
