Lessons From Life Coach Tracey
I met Tracey Steinberg (L. purple in photo) through a friend, CNN producer Sid Lipsey (who is super smart, warm, personable and lovely Tracey’s hubby =). One thing you noticed about both is that they have the most inviting smiles!
June 21 is the premiere of Tracey’s dating show “Dating Help 911!” at Manhattan News Network. Tracey and a guest expert answered callers’ questions on dating, life and help them meet exciting strangers during this live interactive show. (Exciting strangers! Wow) New York has been dubbed as a great and hard place to date: great because of the population, hard because of the temptation.
So I asked this happily married expert some tough questions:
There is a Chinese saying about the 2 types of people you will meet: the WHITE rose meaning the down to earth, the ideal “husband/wife” type. And there is the RED rose, the exciting, passionate and unpredictable, not the typical marrying type. How do you pick?
Tracey: Find a PINK one! It means you find someone with qualities of both types. Tracey said we change throughout our lives. “The white rose type” may not be that exciting or for you at certain point, but it’s a good choice. Life is not perfect, it’s about knowing what you want and finding what’s right for you. Even we want it all, you need to choose. She also suggested couples to go out and do fun things together to spice it up. Hmm, good idea. I am also thinking, what type of rose am I? =)
Tracey came from the law background and now she is a dating expert, she made a big transition so what’s her advice on having your dream life and taking risks?
Tracey: 1 Find and do something you love! 2 Be thankful for what you already have. 3 When making a transition, you can take a “practical” job to support yourself while doing things you love on the side. Then make a full transition when you are ready.
